      Gameboard

      4 Game Pieces

      1 Die

      Object:

Be the first player to reach the 100th square!

      Setup:

Place the gameboard so all of the players can easily move their game pieces from square to square. Everyone chooses a piece to play and starts off of the board near the 1st square.

      About the Squares:

Take a look at the gameboard. The squares are numbered from 1 to 100. Players’ game pieces will move back and forth across the board, following the numbers upward- starting at the #1 square and moving right toward the #10 square, then up to the #11 square, and left toward the #20 square, etc.

Of course, you can also move up by climbing ladders and sometimes go down too, by sliding down arrows.

      How to Play:

Everyone rolls the die. The player with the highest number goes first. Play proceeds to the left.

What to do on your turn:

On your turn, roll the die and move your game piece, square by square, the number shown on your die. For example, on your first turn, if you roll a 4, move to the #4 square on the board. Once you move your piece, your turn is over. NOTE: Two or more pieces may be on the same space at the same time.

      Going Up Ladders:

Any time a player ends their turn at the bottom of a ladder, they must climb up to the top of ladder. For example, if you end your move on the #4 square, you can immediately move up to the #14 square.

      Going Down Arrows:

Any time a players ends their turn at the top of an arrow, they must slide down the arrow to the square it is pointing to. For example, if you end your move on the #62 square, you must immediately move down to the #19 square.

      Winning the Game:

The first player to reach the #100 square wins the game! You can get there two ways:

1.Land there by exact count. If your roll would take you past the #100 square, don’t move. Try again on your next turn.

2.Climb there by ending your turn on the

#80 square and climbing the ladder.
